On the morning of March 12th, 2018, Professor Bernard Tilleman, the Dean of KU Leuven Law School, Associate Professor Michele Panzavolta, the Vice Dean, and Professor ZHANG Lihong from ECUPL visited Tsinghua Law School. The Dean of Tsinghua Law School, Professor SHEN Weixing and the Vice Dean, Associate Professor CUI Guobin warmly welcomed them. The two parties had a fruitful meeting.
Dean SHEN expressed his sincere greetings and welcome to the guests on behalf of Tsinghua Law School. He said that, as one of the most international law schools in law education, Tsinghua Law School actively promoted communication and cooperation with Law Schools in Europe. The KU Leuven is located in the center of the European continent and is a very important partner of Tsinghua Law School. The two schools should initiate various cooperation as soon as possible.
Dean Bernard Tilleman thanked Dean SHEN for the warm welcome and introduced the history of KU Leuven. Then, the two sides discussed in detail and depth on cooperation in the fields of student exchange programs, degree programs, and teacher exchange programs. The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the afternoon, Professor Michele Panzavolta gave a lecture on the issue of jurisdiction of cybercrime, in the lecture hall on the first floor of Mingli Building of Tsinghua Law School. The Dean SHEN Weixing hosted the lecture and the lecture was warmly welcomed by the students.
